IKON PASS ANNOUNCES MORE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE ACCESS WITH THE ADDITION OF MT BULLER IN AUSTRALIA

Ikon Pass Now Offers Access to 39 Global Destinations 18/19 Ikon Pass Pricing Goes Up April 24

DENVER, CO, April 15, 2019 – The Ikon Pass community continues to expand globally with the addition of Mt Buller in Victoria, Australia. Now Ikon Pass holders can take advantage of a year-round winter with access to six Southern Hemisphere destinations. Mt Buller joins Thredbo in New South Wales, Australia, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, and Mt Hutt in New Zealand, and Valle Nevado in Chile.

Mt Buller, located in the Alpine National Park just 150 miles outside of Melbourne, has been a beloved destination among skiers and riders in Victoria for 70 years. Mt Buller offers 741 acres and 80 trails for all abilities, with ski-in/ski-out accommodation, dining, spas and activities, all nestled in a bustling village at treeline.

In addition to access to 33 destinations in the Northern Hemisphere, all 19/20 Ikon Pass holders can enjoy skiing and riding throughout Mt Buller’s 2019 winter season, starting June 2019. Ikon Pass holders will have seven-day access to Mt Buller on the Ikon Pass with no blackout dates, and five-day access on the Ikon Base Pass, also with no blackout dates.

Bonus Access - TWO Seasons with the Purchase of ONE Pass
In celebration of Mt Buller’s inaugural Ikon Pass season, 19/20 Ikon Pass holders will get bonus early access to Mt Buller for the 2019 season starting this June, along with regular access to the 2020 season.

DENVER (Colorado), le 15 avril 2019 – La communauté de l’Ikon Pass poursuit son expansion mondiale avec l’ajout de la station Mt Buller, située à Victoria, en Australie. Les détenteurs d’une Ikon Pass peuvent donc désormais profiter des joies de l’hiver tout au long de l’année en accédant à six destinations dans l’hémisphère sud. Mt Buller rejoint Thredbo, en Nouvelle- Galles du Sud, en Australie, ainsi que Coronet Peak, The Remarkables et Mt Hutt, en Nouvelle- Zélande, et Valle Nevado, au Chili.

Mt Buller, qui se trouve dans le parc national des Alpes australiennes, à seulement 241 km de Melbourne, est une destination très prisée par les skieurs et les planchistes de Victoria depuis son inauguration, il y a 70 ans. La station dispose de 741 acres de terrain et de 80 pistes pour tous les niveaux. Elle offre également aux visiteurs des hébergements de type « skis aux pieds », des restaurants, des spas et des activités dans un village animé bordant la forêt.

En plus de pouvoir accéder à 33 destinations dans l’hémisphère nord, tous les détenteurs de l’Ikon Pass 2019-2020 pourront dévaler les pistes de Mt Buller tout au long de sa saison hivernale 2019, qui commencera dès juin 2019. Les détenteurs d’une Ikon Pass auront droit à sept jours d’accès à Mt Buller, sans restrictions de dates, tandis que les détenteurs d’une Ikon Base Pass profiteront de cinq jours d’accès, également sans restrictions de dates.

Pour célébrer l’ajout de Mt Buller au sein de la communauté de l’Ikon Pass, les détenteurs d’une passe 2019-2020 profiteront d’un accès supplémentaire à la station. En effet, ils pourront dévaler les pistes dès la saison 2019, à partir de juin, en plus de bénéficier d’un accès régulier à compter de juin 2020.
